10 Million Seniors to get Medicare Benefits Cut
Dan Weber, president of the Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC), said today over 10 million seniors will have their Medicare benefits cut under all versions of the health care reform proposed by Democratic legislators in both the House and the Senate. Weber said, ”President Obama promised to reduce costs in his health care proposals by eliminating support for Medicare Advantage plans. All versions from the Democrats contain this provision.It would mean the 10 million seniors who have Medicare Advantage will have to buy expensive supplements to replace the benefits and coverage that would be eliminated.”
